While there is still time…
I do not mean to be an alarmist on this site, but the mission of this site is to help everyone achieve great in their lives.
Which would be very hard to do if you are struggling to afford the rising prices of food.
With inflation causing food prices to soar, to the price of energy skyrocketing, which affects the price of food, to the price of fertilizer skyrocketing, which affects both the price and availability of food, it hardly takes a leap in logic to discern that there is a real chance that food prices may skyrocket in the future as well, not to mention there being potential food shortages.
But it’s still not too late to stock up.
From dry goods like rice and pasta that last a long time to canned foods that also last a long time, there is still a lot on the shelves today that help give you and your loved ones peace of mind should things get rocky for a while.
If you don’t think things can get rocky for a while, consider the riots and protests already occurring in places like Sri Lanka and Peru. Rising food and fuel prices are not only happening in these places.
Food scarcity and skyrocketing prices, not unexpectedly, can lead to great chaos. So it’s best that you not count yourself among the chaotic should that time come.
Plus, if you are not among the hoards clamoring for the food left on the shelves should there be a shortage, you are allowing one other person who was not as prepared as you to be able to feed their family.
By helping yourself now, you are helping someone else tomorrow.
